The Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Rijeka, Ivana Stojiljković, officially opened the 11th World Biennial of Student Poster in Lovran, a prestigious international event organized by the Academy of Arts of the University of Novi Sad.

This biennial, unique in its concept and artistic quality, has for two decades brought together talented young artists from around the world, promoting the exchange of ideas, creativity, and intercultural dialogue. The exhibition is hosted at the “Laurus” Gallery in the historic center of Lovran, and the opening ceremony was attended by numerous guests from Serbia, Croatia, and the region – including professors from the Academy of Arts, led by the Biennial’s founder, Professor Ivan Karlovaris, as well as representatives of Rijeka’s art academies, local government, media, and the art scene.

In her address, Consul General Stojiljković emphasized that this Biennial has become a recognized cultural brand which, in addition to its artistic value, affirms Serbian higher education on the international stage. She particularly highlighted the dedication of the teaching staff and students of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad to preserving and enhancing this program, which combines youthful creativity with contemporary artistic trends.

By hosting the exhibition in Lovran, Serbia – through its Consulate General in Rijeka – has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting cultural cooperation, the promotion of art, and the values that build bridges of understanding among nations.
